REFLECTION QUESTIONEnacting Equity Watch a Documentary about Racial InjusticeWhat did you learn about racial injustice in the documentary(ies) you watched? How does what you learned connect to your understanding of sustainability?
cris fernandez 10/16/2022 9:51 PMLearned that not only have we taken land from indigenous people, that the taking of their land has led to countless health issues. While western medicine /methods may help with these health issues, traditional medicine and practices help more and are sustainable. Indigenous traditions of how to feed themselves would not only be better for their lives it would greatly impact how we as a society think about feeding ourselves . -
cris fernandez 10/05/2022 3:15 PMThis challenge I want to educate myself better on social justice issues, how they intersect with environmental policy and how I can impact to do my part in having a more just society. One that is more green but not judgmental. One that encourages instead of preaches. One that creates more community instead of isolating communities more.-
