Enacting Equity
The Pronoun Project
Have our group organize a drive to ask congregants if they would like to have their pronouns printed on their nametags. Make sure our church and Art Camp registrations are gender-neutral and have a space to state pronouns.
Cultivating Communities
Go on a plalk in our neighborhood
Have the group go on a plalk to collect litter down the main street our church is located on.
Balancing Consumption
Support sustainable fashion by shopping used
Go on a charity shopping field trip to purchase specific items needed by the Clothes for Kids free store in our neighborhood and donate those clothes.
Nourishing Food
Plan and serve a plant-based meal for the parish
Take on the planning and implementation of our Ingathering brunch buffet, making it all plant-based.
Nourishing Food
Advocate for healthy school lunches
Research the ingredients of chocolate milk served at various local schools, then write to the school district asking they improve the quality of the product or remove it from the menu.
Regenerating Nature
Farm Field Trip
Organize our youth group to go to a local farm and ask about their sustainablity practices and how climate change has affected them
Participant Feed
Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
