REFLECTION QUESTIONBalancing Consumption Needs Vs. WantsHow is creativity a necessary ingredient for practicing simplicity?
Lisa Hummel 10/13/2022 8:39 AMIt has been my goal to decrease the amount of "Stuff" I save. There seems to be some kind of emotional attachment to my stuff, but using creativity to figure out how to simplify my space has been kind of fun. I now dedicate 2 hrs per weekend to go through a small area of my spaces and have three boxes; Consign, Donate, Sell on Ebay. So far, taking the time to simplify, I have filled 3 boxes for consignment and two boxes to donate. The best part, is I'm making money getting rid of my stuff and my rooms are starting to feel clearer and more open to be in. -
