Checking out what I have before heading to the mall has saved gas, preventing duplication of items I already have.  It has also allowed me to take those items I no longer use and share them with others who can use it.  It also keeps my house clean and less cluttered.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Regenerating Nature Spend Time Outside
What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time inside and on screens?

Too much time on the screen tires and dries out Eyes.  It then makes it challenging to see clearly.  Getting outside with fresh air clears the mind and allows time for the mind to focus.

How does practicing a work-life balance create a more sustainable life for you? How might it contribute to sustainability more broadly?

Work life balance so, so important.  It eases the mind and keeps the body healthy.  It reduces stress and provides a level of clarity.  This is not easy, and most be worked on daily to reach an even keel level

I signed up for this challenge to continue my growth and renew certain habits for this eco-challenge.  I'm posting a picture of one of my favorite places.  Old Fort Vancouver near the Columbia River.
