I have learned so much about my use and waste of food, water, co2, and materials. There are still places I can improve, especially with my use of transportation, but I have significantly reduced my consumption over the last three years.

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Nourishing Food Watch a Documentary about Food Sovereignty
How does food sovereignty address the complex transition from localized food systems to modern global food systems?

a global food system creates so much waste and increases the use of artificial products (fertilizers, pest control, preservatives). When people are used to a specific diet, foreign foods can disrupt their metabolism greatly (especially when the calorie content doubles or triples).
