Victoria Tsai 10/22/2022 9:35 PMDear Team,
Hope everyone is having a great weekend :)
Just a small story sharing with you. In my neighborhood area, there is a mom always drives a truck loaded with garlic, corns, ginger, cabbage,...who always brings her baby girl along parking on the side of the street and try to sell even during tough weathers.
The agriculture products that she sells are tends to be those that are not taken by the supermarkets because of the different shapes or minor damages.
This reminds me of our people eco challenge, the "balancing consumptions", that I always buy from her whenever she comes, and that little baby girls now turning into a a little teenager and still comes along to sell and now a big helper for her mom :)
Have a wonderful week ahead :) -
Victoria Tsai 10/21/2022 7:26 AMFor this weekend people's ecochallenge, I plan to read a novel for an hour with my phone off as a way to practice balancing my energy consumption. :) Have a wonderful weekend, Team! :) -
Victoria Tsai 10/20/2022 1:31 AMGood morning or Good evening, Team, wherever you are at :)
I am practicing "upcycling" and thought you might be also interested :)
"Upcycling is popular because it helps reduce overall waste and stimulates the economy. It's more valuable than recycling; almost anyone can do it with limited resources. The saying goes, “one man's trash is another man's treasure.” There are still more benefits for those who still aren't convinced about upcycling."
Today, I practice upcycling by turning an old long sleeve jean jacket into a denim vest that go with long dresses :)
Have a wonderful day ahead :) -
