Rebecca McMahan 10/18/2022 12:05 PMAs it starts to get colder I am reminded of my favorite Nordic saying "There is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing!" So as it gets harder to get outside due to the temperatures, remember to dress for the weather we have, not the weather we want!-
Crystal Tyree 10/20/2022 5:33 AMI Agree! I always run into the issue of I am cold one minute and then I am hot the next! So, I never know what jacket/coat to bring with me for the day!

REFLECTION QUESTIONRegenerating Nature Take Shorter ShowersWith 5-minute or less showers reducing your water footprint, what do you plan to add next to your water conservation habits?
Rebecca McMahan 10/14/2022 7:39 AMWe try to only run our dishwasher 1-2x a week. It is pretty easy as it is only my husband and myself in our household, but every little bit counts. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONCultivating Communities Stay on the GroundWhat was your process like for restructuring your trip? How can you avoid more air travel in the future?
Rebecca McMahan 10/13/2022 2:54 PMNext weekend we are going to Baltimore for my sister's wedding. Originally we were planning to fly but have chosen to drive instead to reduce our time at the airport and in the air. It was an easy adjustment but still taking small steps to help! -
Rebecca McMahan 10/13/2022 1:49 PMPerfect day for a walk today! It is cool outside and breezy! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONNourishing Food Eat Plant-Based MealsWhat was the tastiest meatless or vegan meal you ever had or had recently? Did you make it? Can you share a recipe?
Rebecca McMahan 10/06/2022 12:13 PMToday I made a vegan oatmeal with almond milk, chia seeds, and chocolate vegan protein powder. It was absolutely delicious. -
Rebecca McMahan 10/06/2022 12:02 PMHappy to be on the team and finding this on the Today page! Made a donation to get our team some more points! I am looking forward to keeping up with this challenge! I recently switched to a vegan protein powder to ensure my daily oats are vegan!
