  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Transportation Research and Consider Switching to a Hybrid or Electric Vehicle
Reducing (or eliminating) exhaust emissions and improving public health are two benefits of green vehicles. What other motivators inspire you to consider switching to a more fuel-efficient vehicle?

    Suhasini Chandrasekar's avatar
    Suhasini Chandrasekar 10/23/2024 6:24 AM
    • Cost savings - EVs are more efficient and use electricity instead of fossil fuels, which can save you money on fuel.
    • Lower maintenance
EVs have fewer moving parts than internal combustion vehicles, which can reduce maintenance costs.

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Community Research Restorative Justice
How can Restorative Justice help foster the well-being of both people and planet?

    Suhasini Chandrasekar's avatar
    Suhasini Chandrasekar 10/23/2024 6:23 AM
Restorative justice seeks to examine the harmful impact of a crime and then determines what can be done to repair that harm while holding the person who caused it accountable for his or her actions. Accountability for the offender means accepting responsibility and acting to repair the harm done.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Nature Support Local Pollinators
Why is it important to take care of pollinators?

    Suhasini Chandrasekar's avatar
    Suhasini Chandrasekar 10/23/2024 6:23 AM
Pollinators are important because they help flowering plants reproduce, which is essential for healthy ecosystems and for the survival of the human race!
Pollinators are responsible for one out of every three bites of food we eat, including fruits, vegetables, chocolate, coffee, nuts, and spices.
