  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Regenerating Nature Calculate My Water Footprint
What is one way you will reduce your water use? What is a practice you already have that helps you reduce your water use?

    Kiana Dullanty ☁️'s avatar
    Kiana Dullanty ☁️ 10/23/2022 7:43 PM
When brushing I will turn the water off. I will keep on with my shorter showers and find new ways to influence the family and our water consumption- we have a big family and we use a lot of water.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Nourishing Food Donate Food
Why do you donate food? How does it connect to your values?

    Kiana Dullanty ☁️'s avatar
    Kiana Dullanty ☁️ 10/23/2022 7:42 PM
We donate food for those who need it. It warms my heart and makes me feel good. Doing good feels good and it was awesome cause we found a food bank right in our local Catholic Church.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Balancing Consumption Know My Waste & Recycling Services
What did you find surprising or hopeful in your research?

    Kiana Dullanty ☁️ 10/23/2022 7:41 PM
There are not a lot of places in our area for recycling/dumping. We have our main dump and little bottle drops… we have work to do!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Regenerating Nature Spend Time Outside
What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time inside and on screens?

    Kiana Dullanty ☁️'s avatar
    Kiana Dullanty ☁️ 10/23/2022 7:23 PM
Too much time inside is bad for your health- mental and physical. I love being inside but nothing beats being outside with the sun on your face and a nice light breeze.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Regenerating Nature Take Shorter Showers
With 5-minute or less showers reducing your water footprint, what do you plan to add next to your water conservation habits?

    Kiana Dullanty ☁️'s avatar
    Kiana Dullanty ☁️ 10/23/2022 7:22 PM
I’ll continue to take shorter showers and reuse water for washing to the garden, etc.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Balancing Consumption What is Sustainable Fashion?
How can you express your personality, creativity, and values in ways that don't require fast fashion or buying more clothes and accessories?

    Kiana Dullanty ☁️'s avatar
    Kiana Dullanty ☁️ 10/23/2022 7:19 PM
I like to add accessories or paint my clothing. Adds a touch of flair and my personally to every outfit.

I don’t drive and I’ve been running more with cross country. Being on the team has encouraged me to run more and if I need to get somewhere by car I will carpool with friends or family!

If I have money I tend to spend it. I’m working on saving and not impulse buying just cause I have the $$. This will help me save money but also not incur items that I don’t need and I end up not using/wearing.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Regenerating Nature Explore My Area
How can spending more time outdoors enhance your sense of place? Was there a new place in your region that was exciting to learn about and visit?

Today we went on an adventure and found an awesome lake near us. With the lake came a hike and new adventures and lots of fun.

I’ve been running cross country too and with that I’ve been traveling with the team, practicing extra and running ALOT. I’ve been running a lot of places I’ve never been. Really cool and neat way to explore the area.
