    Who is most affected by environmental degradation and/or environmental irresponsiblity in your community? How are they affected?

    I would say that people in our area who live near factories, or where chemicals have in the past run into the water supply are most at risk from the environmental irresponsibility. They are impacted by having higher cancer rates, more birth defects, and shorter lifespans.

    Food insecurity is a major problem here in the Willamette Valley, and this is largely due to the lack of distribution of healthy produce and alternatives to eating processed foods. There are places on the outskirts to get food like this, but for those who are economically challenged in a way that prevents getting there, it remains a problem.

    I practice self-care by taking one half hour to myself every day to either read for enjoyment, go for an extra walk in the evening, or take the kids to the park to relax.

    It helps reduce the ecological footprint that I am leaving, and also cuts back on the use of processed foods.

    I would like to shift my sleep schedule by doing my 11pm wind-down at 10pm. It might take some getting used to, but that little extra time I always feel like I am missing is ok.
