How Does Humidity Affect Air Pollution?
In high school, many of us would have sat with folded arms while the teacher explains the meaning of humidity. If you are like me, you may not have gained so much from the class except that humidity is the atmosphere’s water amount.

Well, now is the time to learn more without being in class. In this article, we have explained everything you need to know about the humidity. We’ll also focus on how humidity affects air pollution.
    Why Humidity?
Why should I learn about humidity? Well, there are a hundred and one reasons. For one, two, and three, humidity is a significant determinant of home comfort, adequate living conditions, favorable weather conditions, and, ultimately, human health and life.

As human beings, we cannot do without humidity as it ensures that we have sufficient breathable air in our homes. Relative humidity ensures that we can regulate our internal body temperature through perspiration, which is, sweating. Interestingly, our domestic pets are not left out.

    Is Stainless Steel Recyclable?
Steel is the most recycled material globally. That and many more features make it a sustainable material. In addition, it’s durable and can withstand extreme weather conditions. You can use your stainless steel item for several decades without it becoming susceptible to rust or damage.

That also explains why there are so many uses for it. You can find stainless steel in virtually any industry. Let’s start with the domestic industry – it’s very popular for producing kitchen utensils, appliances, countertops, and shelves, to name a few. These domestic products are also very easy to clean.
Stainless steel is also in high demand in the construction industry. This is because it doesn’t rust, making it suitable for external walls, roofs, drainage and water systems, and handrails. Every industry benefits from stainless steel, from the pharmaceutical industry down to the medical one.

However, it doesn’t last forever too. So, if you’re looking to dispose of any stainless steel item you own, you may wonder if recycling is an option. So, is stainless steel recyclable? Well, we’ll explore that and other stainless steel-related questions in this blog post. Dive in!

    Is MDF Environmentally Friendly?
MDF or medium-density fireboard is a common domestic construction material. It’s commonly used for furniture, cupboards, flooring, shelves, decorative projects, and doors and door frames, to name a few.

As such, everyone likely has one or two items made from this material. It’s one of those materials that naturally conform to aesthetics and functionality. You don’t even need to paint MDF a particular color because it’s already eye-catching.
However, MDF has an average lifespan of 15 to 20 years. So, you can’t use it forever; you’ll eventually need a replacement. But, on the other hand, you may also need an upgrade or a change. Now, is this versatile and mesmerizing construction material environmentally friendly?

Is MDF sustainable to the environment, or is the continued consumption of MDF threatening our natural resources? Well, if you’d like to know, then please read on. We’ll also provide answers for the sustainability of this material, its biodegradability, and whether or not it’s waterproof. Enjoy!

Every refrigerator, air conditioner, and supermarket case contains refrigerants, specifically chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) and hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs), those having the capacity(depending on their exact chemical composition) to warm the atmosphere 1,000 to 9,000 times more than that of carbon dioxide, and which were once main reason for depletion of the stratospheric ozone layer essential for absorbing the sun’s ultraviolet radiation.

How to Maintain a Solar Panel?

Though the array of solar panels lined up on your roof might not seem like they require maintenance, they actually do. You need not check it frequently, but occasional inspection will help ensure its longevity.

Cleaning: Wash the solar panels with clean water to get rid of dust and pollutants. In case that is not enough, splash cold water and rub it with a sponge. You may need to do this if the panels have hard-to-remove marks, bird droppings, etc.

Note: Never use any kind of soap or detergent to wash the panels. Also, keep metal brushes and sponges away to prevent damage.

Inspection: Once you have thoroughly cleaned the solar array, look closely for defects. These include cracks, crevices, or discoloration. If you find any such issues, note them down so you can check again and ensure they do not deteriorate further.

Additional Examination: Apart from panels, you also need to check the mounts and frames thoroughly. Check all the bolts to make sure they are secure enough. Also, inspect the nuts and bolts closely to check for corrosion. If any parts are rusted, clean them with bicarbonate and soda water.

    Can You Compost Juice Pulp?
When you are eating your vegetables or fruits, you might not have time for their skins and will surely throw them away. Sometimes, you will not need to eat the fruits and might end up juicing them, whereby, again, you will not have time for the leftover pulp.

Well, it is time you change your mindset because that pulp, that you are about to throw away before you consume your fresh juice, might be of great value than you think. It mainly acts as an additive to the soil, whether or not through compost. This article will discuss composting juice pulp and its benefits for the garden.

    What is Organic Farming?
The introduction of chemicals in farming got many delirious at the sight of what they could accomplish. Yields exploded. At the start, the soil was healthy. Any damage brought about by chemical fertilizers was hardly noticeable. Pests had not developed resistance to the chemicals. The technology spread across the world as it was considered the revolution in agriculture.

Flash forward to today, and many people are marveling at organic farming again. This is after learning that conventional farming methods come with a host of problems including health-related diseases like cancer, pollution, degradation of soil and water, and impact on domestic animals.

    The Peoples’ Climate Vote
Over two billion people recognize the need to promote plant-based diets as an important climate policy in world’s largest ever public poll
With 1.2 million respondents, The Peoples’ Climate Vote is the largest survey of public opinion on climate chaos ever conducted. The results of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and Oxford University survey span 50 countries covering 56% of the world’s population.

A global average of 30% of those surveyed in 50 countries agreed that promoting plant-based diets is an important climate action, which if we extrapolated to all countries would amount to 2.3 billion1 globally. Compare this with the estimated 78 million vegans worldwide and that translates into 2.29 billion2 people who should be vegans right now!
