    Last day of EcoChallenge2020 team!
  • Reflection Question
    Transportation Stay on the Ground
What was your process like for restructuring your trip? How can you avoid more air travel in the future?

    Fernanda Ortiz's avatar
    Fernanda Ortiz 10/27/2020 7:53 PM
I'll reduce the amount of air traveling by only having 1 long trip by year, instead of several small trips
  • Reflection Question
    Transportation Choose a Carbon Offset
A round-trip flight from New York City to Los Angeles emits just over 1.5 tons of CO2—per person. That’s a lot of carbon! What can you do to reduce the number of flights you take per year?

    Fernanda Ortiz's avatar
    Fernanda Ortiz 10/27/2020 7:51 PM
In order to reduce my CO2 emissions, will reduce the time I'll visit my relatives, do only one trip and stay by a longer time, instead of having more small trips/visits
  • Reflection Question
    Transportation Advocate for Greener Vehicles
Reducing (or eliminating) exhaust emissions and improving public health are two benefits of green vehicles. What other motivators inspire you to consider switching to a more fuel-efficient vehicle?
