    why are imported fruit so cheap and local fruits more expensive? is the local logistics killing and making local farmers lose out?

    my garden has this little honey sucker bird that goes from flower to flower. it's a joy to watch it flit from tree to tree. It is important to support pollinators to ensure our food and plant diversity

    reuse water that was used to wash vegetables for watering plants. water used to wash clothes can also be used for cleaning the bathroom and also the toilet.

    Beach clean up. I really enjoyed it. Did u know cigarette butts take a very very long time to breakdown and it is a really big percentage of our ocean wastes?

    it is hard to just live off the land. but by growing own food, could be the easiest way to shift our environmental impact. that and also making own compost fertilizer.

    food banks. it's sad that people do take advantage of free food bank. but this should not discourage the efforts to help the poor and hungry.

    Food is a basic necessity. We do not donate because it is our duty but rather we need to give to those in need.
