    I make my coffee at home - it saves money and the environment!

    I use reusable bottles and filtered tap water instead of bottled water as a permanent habit!

    At a minimum replacing all light bulbs with energy efficient ones is an easy fix for reducing consumption. Also switches that sense occupancy are helpful not to forget the lights on

    It's so easy to put the trash out and not think about where it goes next. We try to keep it to one bag of trash (not even one can full) per week but it still all adds up.

    Knowing the terrain, seeing the wildlife, and simply finding new trails can expand your experience and perspective.

    The most difficult part of recycling is making sure we don't put contaminated items in the bin. We try to recycle as much as we can, down to cutting the top half of a pizza box off because it managed to remain grease-free.
