    Simplicity Buy Nothing
How does it feel to be so intentional about not buying anything and instead looking for what you need in community places? What's easy? What's challenging? What's rewarding?

It's easy since I do not go out that mucho since pandemic, but good to be buying more than what I did in local places

I already limit my driving by working from home and walking/biking when I can, have a hybrid car, purchase renewable energy, and eat mostly vegetarian.  Some improvements are switching to an electric car, electric heat in my home, and going entirely vegetarian.
  • Reflection Question

Living in the PNW, we get a lot of rain.  However, with climate change our summers have been getting hotter and drier.  So, drought is becoming more of an issue.  I'm putting in a drip system to do more focused watering on the plants that need it, as well as planting more native and drought tolerant species.
  • Reflection Question
    Transportation Choose a Carbon Offset
A round-trip flight from New York City to Los Angeles emits just over 1.5 tons of CO2—per person. That’s a lot of carbon! What can you do to reduce the number of flights you take per year?

Do virtual meetings and conferences for work.  For personal trips, can do more exploring of local areas, which has happened a lot due to the pandemic.
