I'm so glad I participated in the ecochallenge this year! I will absolutely do it again. I appreciate the resources that the ecochallenge team has available in the action tabs; I feel like I learned the most when I used those. Here's to carrying these habits with me through the year!

I volunteer weekly at a young adult shelter. Often the tasks that I do for the shelter can feel mundane, but they fit into the larger picture of creating a more equitable environment for the unhoused people in my community. We work to meet basic needs like food and a safe place to sleep so that our guests can have capacity to advocate for...

I love exploring new areas to feel more connected to the region and also to feel more connected to myself.

Because our compost bin is so small, I notice how much food scraps I am throwing away. It also makes me notice how small our trash output is in comparison
