The City of Guelph is excited to partner with Ecochallenge again to support City’s call to climate action plan.
This month-long initiative is an opportunity for us to unite and drive change through simple, everyday climate actions that help reduce our environmental impact. This is in light of the circular economy month. If you live, work, or play in Guelph, we want YOU to join in and make a difference!

🌏 What's People's Ecochallenge?
It’s a 31-day digital initiative focused on environmental and social engagement. During the month of October, you can select climate actions that resonate with your values. Each action you complete earns points and generates real-world impact. Your efforts, combined with those of our community, contribute to a significant collective difference.
How Does the Ecochallenge Work?
- Sign Up and Join the ‘City of Guelph’ team. (Registration details are below)
- Select Your Actions: Choose actions you can commit to throughout the challenge.
- Take Action: Fulfill your actions and check them off to collect points.
- This time we will be introducing weekly prizes for participation. Check here before the start of the challenge for a chance to win.
During this month’s Ecochallenge, you will join the Guelph community team, choose your action(s), and earn points for completing those actions, engaging your community, and sharing your story. Your points will be accumulated to determine your impact and improve your overall ranking.
