Herb Aliga 10/26/2024 3:22 PMI am surprisingly myself as I am noticing that there's many things under this month's challenge that I can confidently say that I have already done and have been able to put into habits and routines. I have exercised more days during the month of October versus every other month of 2024 and I will make more effort in coming months to ensure that I exercise more.-
Deepali Shanbhag 10/27/2024 1:12 AMThat's fantastic! It’s great to hear that you've been able to integrate so many positive changes into your routine.

Herb Aliga 10/21/2024 8:39 PMI went to Springs Preserve over the weekend and found it super cool that Las Vegas was able to decrease the amount of water use from the 2010s to it's current use. During 2010, Las Vegas estimated that they use 157 billion gallons of water per year. Currently, Las Vegas consumes around 85 billion gallons of water per year. I was also able to learn some cool facts on how Las Vegas has been able to conserve water in the past 20 years. One of the best exhibits at Springs Preserve.-

Herb Aliga 10/12/2024 3:47 PMI have not been as consistent with the People's ecochallenge versus the earth month's eco challenge this past April. I'm happy that I have maintained some great habits from April's challenge. This includes using a reusable water bottle and exercising daily. As for some of my actions during this month's ecochallenge, i'm creating some stretch goals and finding that supporting businesses by people of color is difficult because I revert to using Amazon to do my browsing and shopping.-

REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity Research My Investment PortfolioIn what ways can you increase the positive impacts and decrease the negative impacts of your financial investments?
Herb Aliga 10/12/2024 3:42 PMI look at this as focusing on diversifying my portfolio investments in order to decrease the negative impacts of my financial investments. I do this by ensuring that I invest in multiple industries and also focus on index funds in which I can sort of set it and forget it. One index fund that I regularly invest in is the VOO index fund. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Go Get a Check UpHow do you practice self care?
