Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.

To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

I have done this for a while. I clean out my pantry once a month or 2 months and donate any good un-expired food that hasn't been eaten. I will also donate healthy snacks to the school for those children who do not have the resources.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Nourishing Food Make Zero-Waste Meals
How did you incorporate using an entire vegetable (skins, peels, tops, and stalks) during one of your meal preps? What's something new you're going to try that is a zero-waste meal practice?

Taking shorter showers, only watering necessary plants (not the lawn) and I am terrible about letting the kitchen faucet run, so I will stop that. We also just ordered a new toilet that conserves water when flushing.

I just started, but this has been our family's focus this year. I am happy that my daughter's have been even more committed than I ever was at their age.
