I would like to do more about sharing other parts of my environmentally friendly choices. Eating plant based (vegan), buying green certified products like dish soap, purchasing animal cruelty free hygiene products are just some of the things I could be more open about.

Cultivating Communities
Share My Habits & Actions
Each day, I will make my sustainable habits or actions visible through a lawn sign, bumper sticker, pin, t-shirt, social media or other ways.
Cultivating Communities
Cycle to reduce emissions
I will use my bike to accomplish daily tasks and commutes to work, campus, and or shops five days a week.
Regenerating Nature
Spend Time Outside
I will replace 45 minute(s) per day typically spent inside and often with electronics with quality time outside walking, exercising, enjoying the sunrise/sunset, gardening, journaling, observing nature, or practicing gratitude for nature.
Regenerating Nature
Explore My Area
Each day, I will spend 4 minutes exploring a new area around my neighborhood, which might include a park, water body, trail, etc.
Regenerating Nature
Take Shorter Showers
I will save up to 20 gallons (75 L) of water each day by taking 5-minute or less showers. Tip: Use a timer to practice or count to 60 a few times.

REFLECTION QUESTIONCultivating Communities Share My Habits & ActionsWhat was the most fun or joyful way you have seen others share their positive sustainability actions and habits?
Connor Ballgae 10/10/2022 7:45 PMI don't have a lot of bumper stickers, but I primarily ride my bike everywhere. At places like the grocery store or even on campus, I sometimes get asked how difficult it is to pack, or carry, items and commute. It is a great way to share about how cycling can replace driving to stores, to work, or to school.

REFLECTION QUESTIONRegenerating Nature Take Shorter ShowersWith 5-minute or less showers reducing your water footprint, what do you plan to add next to your water conservation habits?
Connor Ballgae 10/09/2022 8:19 AMI plan to limit the amount of water used while brushing my teeth, shaving, washing hands, washing food. Stopping the shower in between washing may also reduce the amount of water used. It has been hard trying to adjust to five minutes; stopping the shower during hair washing or body washing, then turning the water back on to rinse might be efficient.
