Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.

To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Balancing Consumption Personal Waste Audit
Why is it often difficult to understand the impacts our purchases and waste have on other people, animals, and places?

I think it is because waste is largely invisible in our society.  That's why I find doing waste audits periodically so useful - it makes clear what is being wasted and why and helps motivate me to change my habits.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Nourishing Food Forest-Friendly Foods
How did you figure out ways to remove foods that are not forest-friendly?

The challenge on forest-friendly foods was really educational.  I saved all the links so that I can share material from them on Facebook and spread the knowledge!

How can you prevent yourself from accumulating more things in the future?

Actually, the items for donation are ones that I "rescued" when colleagues left my employer and left personal items behind that were still usable, such as sweater and coats.

How wonderful that you identified these items and sent them on to continue to be useful to someone!
