Communities of color surrounding where I live have been most impacted by environmental irresponsibility. I have a close relationship with a family who lives next to a manufacturing facility that has suffered severe health problems. They are living in a lower socio-economic community and the majority of the people living there are people of color.

It is more important to eat locally and more sustainable. For me, I like this because I know exactly where my food is coming from.
