  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Nourishing Food Make Zero-Waste Meals
How did you incorporate using an entire vegetable (skins, peels, tops, and stalks) during one of your meal preps? What's something new you're going to try that is a zero-waste meal practice?

For the veggie scraps that I had leftover, I stuck them in my freezer for later use to make a vegetable stock. In future, I want to try other methods such as making sauces.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

Seeing a "highlight reel" of everyone else's life and comparing yourself to others; it's never as good as it seems!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Nourishing Food Weekly Meal Planning
An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four in the US spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Does this surprise you? Where would you rather use this money?

Unfortunately, this does not surprise me. I would rather use the money towards saving for grad school!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

This is SO TRUE! I remember when I was younger, I would use random household items as alternate things! A broom was a sword! A sheet was my cape!
