This challenge has been so fun and fulfilling. I will continue to keep my tasks in mind as the challenge ends and try my hardest to continue to practice what I've learned.

I love this, Lucy! I honestly was so focoused on getting through October that I hadn't paused to ask if I'll keep it up. I hope I do keep these things in mind as I move through life.

"Every act of energy conservation... is more than just common sense: I tell you it is an act of patriotism."
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Energy Adjust the Thermostat
Your utility company is able to tell you your average energy usage. Ask them how your energy usage compares to others in your ZIP code, region, and/or state. What other steps can you take each day to reduce your electricity usage?

Using a smart thermostat can help reduce electricity use. They use sensors to adjust the temperature, and when you are away you can use your phone to change the temperature if the weather has changed or you want your home a certain temperature when you get home.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Energy Switch to Cold Water
What do you plan to do with the money you save from making more energy efficient choices?

YIKES! On a warm day maybe . . . while turning to colder temps? It would be good practice for an arctic plunge in the winter!! HA! Kudos Lucy!
