Take the Pre-Survey
Take the Pre-Event Survey
I’ll take a short pre-survey to share what motivated me to join — and earn 15 points! (If I already took the survey by email, I’ll just mark this action complete to get my points.)
Waste
Compost My Food Waste
I will avoid sending up to 0.42 lbs (0.19 kg) of food waste to the landfill per day by composting my food.
Health
Exercise Daily
Daily movement supports our physical and mental health. I will spend 30 minutes each day exercising in a way that feels good to me, such as walking, running, stretching, or dancing.
Waste
Skip the Straw
Plastic bags and small plastic pieces like straws are most likely to get swept into our waterways. I will keep 3 plastic straws out of the landfill and ocean each day by refusing straws or using my own glass/metal straw.
Waste
Reduce Single-Use Disposables
Historically, marginalized and low-income communities live closer to landfills, contributing to a multitude of health problems. I will find out how I can limit single-use items and do my best to limit the waste I generate. I will keep 2 containers out of the landfill each day.
Community
Listen to Equity and Justice Podcasts
I will spend 120 minutes listening to a podcast about equity and justice.

I listen to so many podcasts, but a few that I find to have a lot of varying and interesting information are Diary of a CEO and Consider This (NPR). -
