Asking "want vs. need" questions. Some things you just outgrow, while other things you just find out you didnt really need and no longer want.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

The Sudra is my favorite vegan restaurant, its a shame that the downtown location closed, there is one near my house though, so I try to support them when I want to go out to eat.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Nourishing Food Make Zero-Waste Meals
How did you incorporate using an entire vegetable (skins, peels, tops, and stalks) during one of your meal preps? What's something new you're going to try that is a zero-waste meal practice?

We own a Vitamix food cycler that turns excess food waste into compost. We compost food scraps as well as coffee grounds and fertilize our garden.

    Nourishing Food Weekly Meal Planning
An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four in the US spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Does this surprise you? Where would you rather use this money?

This does not surprise me, portion sizes in America are quite large leading to excess waste.
