  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Nourishing Food Compost Food Scraps
As you transition from throwing food away to composting, what do you notice about how much you are tossing? How will you use your compost once it is ready?

I notice that a lot of things should actually be composted rather than thrown away.  I will use it to fertilize my yard.

I recently watched the Jeffrey Dahmer documentary and found that the police department failed in multiple ways.  Dahmer targeted a lot of minorities and it definitely affected Asian and African American communities.

I learned that a lot of my yard debris and other organic products can actual be burned in my barrel reducing the carbon footprint.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Balancing Consumption Less Screen Time
What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time inside and on screens?

There is less connection to nature and the outdoors.  There is less human interaction when always stuck to a screen.  I try to work outside in my backyard as much as I can when not working.
