Nourishing Food
Weekly Meal Planning
I will reduce food waste, excess carbon and save money by planning my daily and weekly menus so that I only purchase the ingredients needed.
Regenerating Nature
Support Local Pollinators
At least 30% of crops and 90% of flowering plants rely on pollinators to produce fruit. I will spend 10 minutes researching which plants support local pollinators and plant a few in my area.
Regenerating Nature
Spend Time Outside
I will replace 120 minute(s) per day typically spent inside and often with electronics with quality time outside walking, exercising, enjoying the sunrise/sunset, gardening, journaling, observing nature, or practicing gratitude for nature.
Participant Feed
Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.
To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

REFLECTION QUESTIONRegenerating Nature Spend Time OutsideWhat are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time inside and on screens?
Stephanie Kyle 10/17/2022 10:02 PMLack of movement and fresh air is going to put a damper on your spirit and physical health. Being outside opens up your airways, lets blood flow, and gives your brain a chance to turn up its memory bank by letting terpenes flood your system... so amazing :p -
REFLECTION QUESTIONNourishing Food Weekly Meal PlanningAn average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four in the US spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Does this surprise you? Where would you rather use this money?
Stephanie Kyle 10/17/2022 9:59 PMInvesting money on raised beds, good soil, and some seeds is a guarantee for your yearly costs of food to go down. Start saving the seeds and replant year after year. Guaranteed pesticide free, cheaper, helping pollinators, and you get the joy of knowing you did it all yourself as a mental health bonus! Plus all the outside time! -
Stephanie Kyle 10/06/2022 5:46 PMHi My name is Stephanie. Looking forward to making impactful decisions everyday to help build a more sustainable future for myself and my community. Being outside regularly helps me stay connected to my neighbors and things happening in my community while also getting a chance to observe the health of the plants and animals in my area. Participating in the lived experiences of my community inspires me to makes small gradual changes that effects all of my neighbors, one legged (plants), two legged, and four legged for the greater good!
