    How is creativity a necessary ingredient for practicing simplicity?

    Creativity allows a new way of thinking when going about your everyday life. If you add something new or put a little twist to the little things in your everyday routine, it will feel new every time. Having a simple life doesn't have to be boring or mundane if add a little bit of creativity to it.

    What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time inside and on screens?

    If we as a community spend more time on screen and watching tv, we will end up loosing a sense of reality and a real understanding of the world. Watching life through a screen can give either a false hope of the world or an extreme. If we went outside and enjoyed nature or exploring somewhere or something new, we would continue to expand our knowledge of things around us and not feel so alone.

    I notice i buy a lot of Dutch Bros in the morning, and I know it is not good for me physically or financially. I want to not get it everyday, and make it more as a once in a while treat. They cost about $6 and that is about  $180 a month I could be putting towards saving or gas in my car.

    What is one way you will reduce your water use? What is a practice you already have that helps you reduce your water use?

    A way I will reduce my water intake is by refilling my waters and not buying new ones as often or dumping out perfectly good water to refill it with colder water. A way i already practice reducing my water waste, is by never getting my car washed. The rain definitely does that for me.

    Social media can keep us connected with loved ones, make us laugh, and help us to learn new things. It can also create echo chambers and take more time than we realize or intend to give. After completing this action for a few days, how do you feel? What do you notice?

    I noticed that my body feels better. Not staring at a small screen for long periods of time allows my eyes to not burn or my back and my neck to not be bent for as long due to not hunching over to watch videos on my phone.

    Creating a healthy balance allows me to feel relaxed coming home after a long day by leaving work at work. Allowing myself to feel relaxed betters my mood when at work due to having the time i needed to refresh my brain and prepare for the day ahead in a calm and happier state of mind.
