REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity Find / Join A Sharing EconomyWhat are some of the barriers to sharing economies? What is your plan for supporting or creating one in your community?
Miranda Muniz 10/16/2024 7:00 AMA barrier for sharing economies is some services such as uber/doordash/grubhub contains many other fees that do not come with ordering delivery from a restaurant or getting a taxi. I will continue to support my local library and rent out their tools as well instead of buying my own. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONNature Explore My AreaHow can spending more time outdoors enhance your sense of place -- your deep knowledge of and appreciation for your surroundings?
Miranda Muniz 10/15/2024 11:38 AMIt helps me get to know the new area I live in. I took a walk in Princton along the water and found snail shells and baby snails! It was so cool I've never seen snails back in south jersey before I moved. It made me feel closer to my new home -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEnergy Heat and Cool NaturallyWhat are other ways you could use the power of the sun to reduce your own environmental footprint?
Miranda Muniz 10/15/2024 11:26 AMI use community solar for my apartment which reduces my own environmental footprint by using partial solar power. Hopefully one day I'll own a house with solar and can generate enough energy to sustain my house's energy usage.
