What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time inside and on screens?

I'm sure we've all experienced dry eyes from staring at a computer for work or school assignments. Yet, how many of us go home and turn on the TV to relax? I am definitely one of those people, but I've noticed that my headaches are worse, my eyes are dryer, and it's as simple as just turning off the TV and doing something outside or cracking a book open, doing a craft, playing music, endless opportunities that also help our brains grow and uses less energy!

I've noticed that with increased screen time, I have more headaches (especially with having a job where I'm looking at a computer for the majority of my day) and I feel more depressed. I also don't get to appreciate the color changes that are occurring as the season is changing, and this develops poor posture/spinal issues. Lowering my screen time to do other activities such as walking, being on my porch, or going to a park feels so rejuvenating.

I've been vegan for almost 2 years to help the planet, but I want to see what else I can do to help our planet! I'm so excited to see so many people taking steps to help our planet thrive!
