Try a New Way to Prep
I will try a new method of food preparation, such as canning, pickling, or baking bread.

REFLECTION QUESTIONNatureWhat natural gifts are you grateful for?
Nisha sanyashi 10/28/2025 12:49 PMI am grateful for having natural gifts such as legs and arms since some people don't or were not born with it from mutations -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealthWhat single-use items (e.g. straws, coffee cups, vegetable bags, plastic bags) do you regularly use? What could be substituted instead?
Nisha sanyashi 10/28/2025 12:47 PMI use glass straws to reduce the plastic straws which in turn helps the environment. And I think using fabric bags instead of plastic bags you get from the store is also a better substitute option -
REFLECTION QUESTIONCommunityHow is equality for trans, femme, and nonbinary people important to a just and sustainable society?
Nisha sanyashi 10/20/2025 2:11 PMits important because everyone deserves to be treated fairly and equal no one should be treated a certain way based on whatever it may be this helps us unite and build a better environment from fair and inclusive community -
REFLECTION QUESTIONNatureWhat did you observe while spending time outside -- through sight, sound, smell and/or touch?
Nisha sanyashi 10/20/2025 2:02 PMI observed sight while spending time outside by looking at nature and the environment around me. For sound, I listened to my surroundings like birds chirping or wind blowing the grass. For smell and touch, I smelled the fresh air, and with touch, I observed the fresh air hitting me. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealthConsider how many hours of sleep you get now. How would you like to shift your sleep patterns? What changes did you make to improve your sleep, and how did they affect your day?
Nisha sanyashi 10/20/2025 1:57 PMI get ten to eleven hours of sleep on a daily basis. I would like to shift my sleep patterns by sleeping early this way I feel more energetic. I tried to do my daily activities on time so I wouldn't stay late at night doing them this made me have more time for sleeping. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodIn North America, up to 65% of food waste happens at the consumer level. Chef Steven Satterfield advocates for using every part of a vegetable. How can you incorporate using an entire vegetable (including the skins, tops, stalks, etc.) during your next meal prep?
Nisha sanyashi 10/20/2025 1:50 PMI can reduce waste by using the entire vegetable like for example use the whole potato instead of just peeling the skin off and throwing it away I can use the skin and fry them to make small fries.
