My goal is to limit food waste on a daily basis by limiting the amount of food I order and buy when grocery shopping. I chose this action because food waste is too common, and I want to be more cognizant of my impact on food waste.

Limit energy usage
This action is focused on reducing my energy consumption by only using energy when it is needed. I will turn off lights when they are not actively in use and unplug devices not in use. I chose this to reduce my energy bill and consumption

Meal Prep once a week
My goal for this action is to eat out less often and have food ready for me when I need it. This will also limit food and plastic waste. Planning my meals will make my consumption more intentional.

I will explore at least one new hiking trail or nature walk in my area.

Enrique Soto 10/13/2025 9:02 PMI fixed up a pair of pants that had some holes in them by hand stitching. My roommate is very good at sewing, and she has been teaching me how to sew better. It went very well, and my pants are wearable again! -

Enrique Soto 10/13/2025 9:01 PMSpending more time outdoors helps me connect and appreciate the place I am in much more than if I spent time indoors. I can see how different species interact and learn what creatures I share this Earth with. If I spend all my spare time indoors, then I will never develop the same appreciation and understanding of the world around me. -

The implications for a culture that spends most of its time indoors are that we are more depressed, stressed, and care less for the environment. The more time I spend in the environment, the more I care about protecting it.
