REFLECTION QUESTIONRegenerating Nature Spend Time OutsideWhat are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time inside and on screens?
Hailey Swain 10/06/2022 8:18 PMI think that by spending too much time in front of screens, it is easy to become numb to life and disconnect from reality. A screen can show you so many things in a second. As you scroll social media for example, there's oftentimes a cute photo, then horrifying news, and a funny video all in a matter of minutes. This may not be allowing us to fully feel each thing, because it is constantly changing as you scroll. Or it's the opposite, and can be overwhelming. Returning to the present moment, to what is really right in front of us or out the door of the house can be extremely relieving as long as you open your mind to welcome the outside world to truly live in it.
