  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food
What is your perceotion of organic food? After cooking with and eating organic food, has your perception changed?

    Aiden Swinfard 10/09/2025 6:22 PM
My perception of organic foods is that they are expensive but are good for your body. After cooking and eating organic food, I now see that sometimes the extra price for organic ingredients is worth it due to the positive effects it has on my body and health.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food
In North America, up to 65% of food waste happens at the consumer level. Chef Steven Satterfield advocates for using every part of a vegetable. How can you incorporate using an entire vegetable (including the skins, tops, stalks, etc.) during your next meal prep?

    Aiden Swinfard's avatar
    Aiden Swinfard 10/09/2025 6:22 PM
For my next meal prep, I can save the tops/stalks of a vegetable in order to grow my own so that I don’t have to go pay for a new one. On the other hand I can just eat or utilize the rest of the vegetables in my meals going forward.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Energy
How is electricity generated where you live? How does it impact the environment, animals, and humans?

Where I live, the electricity is most likely generated using a generator. This generator most likely pollutes the air due to greenhouse gas emissions.
