REFLECTION QUESTIONWaterWhat did you notice about your habits or routines when limiting your showers to five minutes? What changes — if any — do you think you’ll continue long-term?
Emily Thomas 10/14/2025 7:41 PMPart of my depression leads me to having anxiety during shower time and at other times. But for my showers, I enjoy 5-minute showers because they make me feel better getting in quick and getting out quick. It's a weird mental health thing with me, but I don't know. It's helpful in this situation, I guess. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEnergyYour utility company is able to tell you your average energy usage. Ask them how your energy usage compares to others in your ZIP code, region, and/or state. What other steps can you take each day to reduce your electricity usage?
Emily Thomas 10/14/2025 7:38 PMRegarding the usage and reduction of energy in my home, I have a house full of candles, because crystals and candles are my jam. I love lighting the day areas with the sun and the night areas with candlelight. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEnergyWhat are other ways you could use the power of the sun to reduce your own environmental footprint?
Emily Thomas 10/14/2025 7:33 PMI can use the sun to grow fresh vegetables and herbs in a patio garden. The sun will help the garden grow, offering natural, raw foods for consumption. -
