I will spend 7 minutes each day trying out climate anxiety resources that support mental and psychological well being.
I’ll take a short pre-survey to share what motivated me to join — and earn 15 points! (If I already took the survey by email, I’ll just mark this action complete to get my points.)
I will spend 8 minutes per day outside, practicing gratitude (prayer, meditation, journaling, etc.) for Earth and my natural surroundings.
I will enjoy the sunrise and/or sunset each day.
I will engage in nature-based activities alone, or with my friends or family, for 5 minutes each day. (This can be anything from going on a walk or hike, to noticing the leaves changing color, to reading a book with nature themes.)
I will replace 5 minutes each day typically spent inside (computer time, watching television, etc.) with quality time outside.
I will explore at least one new hiking trail or nature walk in my area.
I will spend 10 minutes researching the impact of old harmful refrigerants on our environment.
At least 30% of crops and 90% of flowering plants rely on pollinators to produce fruit. I will spend 15 minutes researching which plants support local native pollinators and plant some in my yard.
