Regenerating Nature
Support Local Pollinators
At least 30% of crops and 90% of flowering plants rely on pollinators to produce fruit. I will spend 120 minutes researching which plants support local pollinators and plant a few in my area.
Nourishing Food
Listen to a Food Podcast
I will spend 60 minutes listening to a podcast about food.

Jo Twiss 10/26/2022 9:42 PMYesterday, as I ordered a coffee at Tim Horton's, I mentioned that I don't need a sleeve since I keep replacements in my purse. In response my server's expression I added that it was one way to save the environment, to which he replied, "Yes, we all do what we can." I don't think that this warrants any points but I felt enormously pleased that he got it! -
Jo Twiss 10/26/2022 9:38 PMLast Saturday I attended a 90-minute virtual panel discussion with Chief Na'Moks, Severn Cullis-Suzuki, Shannon McPhail, Mark Ruffalo, Kris Statnyk, and moderator, Kai Nagata, who reviewed the history and current status of the pipeline controversy in Wet'suwet'en Territory in northern British Columbia. Recognizing that we all have a role and responsibility in helping to protect the environment, I have signed on to participate in a 9-point action step plan that will help support important change in this area.
