  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health
How did exercising each day impact your physical or mental well-being? What activity did you enjoy most, and why?

When exercising I felt more focused on the workout at hand and forgot about the stress I may have had with homework or anything else. The activity I enjoyed the most was either Incline chest press or hammer curls.

    Food
In North America, up to 65% of food waste happens at the consumer level. Chef Steven Satterfield advocates for using every part of a vegetable. How can you incorporate using an entire vegetable (including the skins, tops, stalks, etc.) during your next meal prep?

When thinking about ways I could incorporate an entire vegetable into my meal prep there are a couple things that come to mind. One idea that I had would be to slice a squash and cook it with a fish filet and butter. By slicing the squash and cooking it with the fish I can use the whole squash with the meal and avoid having and waste from such.
