I have started biking as an alternative to driving a car. if I have to go somewhere nearby or under 5 miles, I will walk/bike. it gives me the chance to talk with people in my community and I can stop to admire the nature on the side of the road.  Also great alternatives for exercise!

    Nourishing Food Compost Food Scraps
As you transition from throwing food away to composting, what do you notice about how much you are tossing? How will you use your compost once it is ready?

I've noticed how much organic waste I've prevented to go into the landfill  instead I started collecting them to put into my compost bin. it's very nourishing to the plants and soil. I use it in my garden.
