I read an article today that the rate of plastics actually being recycled fell down to around 5 to 6% in the US. Which is a huge concern since it doesn't look like recycling in the US is not working. In the future, I am planning to collect single use coffee cups, and plastics and just paste them into my paintings. The medium I use is acrylic...

I was director of our Sunday School program for 15 years.  I organized a food drive each fall.  I then scheduled a field trip with the 7th & 8th graders to take the food collected to St. Augustine Hunger Center.  The nun that was head of the program would talk to the kids about the shelter.  St. Augustine's Hunger Center not only provided...

Today is the last day!!!! How did everyone do?!

Great job everyone!! I am really looking forward to doing this challenge again next year. All of these opportunities have had great chances to learn and find new ways to help the community and environment.
