October 29 at 6:15 AMWhen I take my daily walks on the beach, I see that a lot of trash gets swept up onto the beach from the ocean. Even though this place is somewhat remote being not so easy to get to, we cannot escape this reality. The beaches here can actually get dirtier than the beaches for example in Rio because there is no one employed to clean it up and it...

October 29 at 6:04 AMThis challenge has been so fun and fulfilling. I will continue to keep my tasks in mind as the challenge ends and try my hardest to continue to practice what I've learned.

October 29 at 5:49 AMI mark down the things I want to do everyday in a notebook and keep track that way, in case I don't get a chance to check in on the computer. I have been doing very well, and even though I am only allowed to choose five things on my dashboard as dailoies, I have found myself doing more of those activities than I expected to, and I am learning a...

October 28 at 6:51 PMOne habit I am taking away from this ecochallenge is my daily time spent outside and journaling about nature. I have kept this routine daily for this month and it has impressed me with how my mood and attitude is lifted after sitting with nature and writing about the experience.

October 27 at 4:02 PMI have not been as active as I intended this month but it has had a positive effect in my life! My daily eating and shopping habits have changed gradually this month from having at least my daily goals on the wall. I have been using my backpack to carry groceries instead of using disposable bags. Also reusing water bottles and straws. I watched...

October 27 at 1:23 PMThis has made me painfully aware of how difficult it is to get around without using your vehicle if you live in a rural area. Buses are only local to the small town, with very few traveling outside town limits, so I had to be creative in putting together trips that were multi-town. I've decided my best option is to ride share whenever possible,...

October 27 at 1:17 PMI do agree that a sense of gratitude leads to a sense of moral obligation, maybe not in all, but in most. It is why I feel it is more important than ever that all children, while young, should experience the outdoors, mother nature, learn how to admire, use, and protect it. By instilling respect and awe for nature and conservation at a young...

October 27 at 11:56 AMI have become well versed with Microsoft Teams for meeting, chats, IT support, and much more. My cellphone which I never had on me, is now at my side continuously throughout my work day, as I can be mobile about my location and still have the same office access, a much smaller screen though. I do enjoy working remotely for the ease of the...

October 27 at 11:49 AMI feel it is my personal responsibility. I take regularly from the planet and I feel I need to support replenishing what is taken, and conserving what cannot be replenished. I feel a strong responsibility to see that those in the future are able to enjoy the same beauty of our planet as I have been so lucky to experience.

October 26 at 8:04 PMI continue taking an echochallenge to make this world better for my 4 grandchildren.
