We're below the average but there's still some room for reducing usage. The virtual water usage was the most surprising, I guess we're going solar sooner than we planned to!

Kanee's actions
Regenerating Nature
Calculate My Water Footprint
I will calculate my water footprint and look for a few ways I can reduce consumption or waste.
Regenerating Nature
Take Shorter Showers
I will save up to 20 gallons (75 L) of water each day by taking 5-minute or less showers. Tip: Use a timer to practice or count to 60 a few times.
Balancing Consumption
Less Screen Time
I will replace 30 minute(s) of screen time each day with other activities.
Balancing Consumption
Reduce Social Media Use
I will use my social media only once per day.
Cultivating Communities
Pull Together Items to Donate
Each day, I will find one or more items I can donate to a local thrift or resale shop.
Cultivating Communities
Drive Less
Each day, I will cut my car trip mileage by only taking necessary trips.

REFLECTION QUESTIONRegenerating Nature Calculate My Water FootprintWhat is one way you will reduce your water use? What is a practice you already have that helps you reduce your water use?
Kanee Hutchinson 10/06/2022 7:15 AMWe have 2 rain barrels and drought resistant landscaping in our very small yard. I also keep a water can in the kitchen that I fill with waste water that is clean enough for watering plants. All of our faucets, toilets, shower heads, etc are low flow and I was still shocked at how large our water footprint was.

REFLECTION QUESTIONCultivating Communities Pull Together Items to DonateHow can you prevent yourself from accumulating more things in the future?
Kanee Hutchinson 10/06/2022 6:53 AMI've committed to buying only sustainable clothing that will last and only as needed.
I will wait 24 hours until I actually purchase something online to ensure I really need it.
I will not impulsively buy something unless it has more than one use and is sustainably made.
