REFLECTION QUESTIONRegenerating Nature Is Nature on the Ballot? What ballot measure are you interested in following through this election cycle and why?
Nicole Ketterer 10/13/2022 2:06 PMAt first I didn't see anything on my ballot that I felt qualified for this, but then I realized there is a proposal to continue mass transit in our county so I am planning to follow it through the cycle. I'm curious to see if it passes because while mass transit is critical to many, it is not a main form of transportation here in the motor city. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONRegenerating Nature Volunteer in My CommunityWhat event did you volunteer for and what was the experience like for you?
Nicole Ketterer 10/11/2022 1:06 PMWe helped bag jalapenos at a farm that produces food for pantries in our area. The sheer amount of food grown and work required on this farm really hits home when you are involved in the process. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONCultivating Communities Collect Litter on a Plog / PlalkWhat was your experience like plogging, or engaging in another way to collect litter while being outside? Was there any item you collected that was unusual that you found?
Nicole Ketterer 10/11/2022 1:04 PMI found more litter in our neighborhood than I expected. It seems like the bulk of it really is either trash/recycling that falls out of bins on trash day along with the political flyers stuck on the outside of mailboxes.
