There are many aspects of everyday life that begin to suffer as a result of the time humans now spend inside or online. First and foremost is health, without spending time outside moving, there is increased weight and a sedentary lifestyle.  Younger individuals experience issues with socializing skills and anxiety when in social situations.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Balancing Consumption Reduce Social Media Use
Social media can keep us connected with loved ones, make us laugh, and help us to learn new things. It can also create echo chambers and take more time than we realize or intend to give. After completing this action for a few days, how do you feel? What do you notice?

I noticed most of the posts are not from family and friends. There is a lot of Advertising that is just taking up space and not something I should spend time looking at.

I have been composting for a while now. We have now added a few earth worms to the mis to help compost faster. We will be using the leftover material as fertilizer in our vegetable garden.
