  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Regenerating Nature Spend Time Outside
What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time inside and on screens?

Today we spent a lot of time outside! It was awesome and we got to see a lot of machines, trucks, mailboxes and just stuff repurposed at a local pumpkin patch! So cool.

Time outside is better than time inside on screens because you get to play, use your imagination and explore places with people you love!

So much fun! Loved seeing all the fun ways they used the broken down machinery and loved being together outside!! 🍂

Regenerating Nature Calculate My Water Footprint
What is one way you will reduce your water use? What is a practice you already have that helps you reduce your water use?

Flushing only when there is poop. Shorter showers or showers every other day. Larger loads of laundry, not just small loads all day long…
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Regenerating Nature Explore My Area
How can spending more time outdoors enhance your sense of place? Was there a new place in your region that was exciting to learn about and visit?

We found an awesome new lake on the outskirts of town. Super cool, really bright and clean and I’m excited to go back!

We went for my moms birthday but I can’t wait to go in the summer when the water is higher and we can cool off in the water.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Balancing Consumption What is Sustainable Fashion?
How can you express your personality, creativity, and values in ways that don't require fast fashion or buying more clothes and accessories?

I like to keep my clothes, my mom has to tell me to stop wearing some of my pants cause of the holes… besides wearing them till you can’t wear them anymore you can repurpose them. One time she turned my pants into shorts and another way is hand me downs, my brother gets some of my good clothes as I’ve gotten some of my older brothers stuff.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Nourishing Food Make Zero-Waste Meals
How did you incorporate using an entire vegetable (skins, peels, tops, and stalks) during one of your meal preps? What's something new you're going to try that is a zero-waste meal practice?

At our house we share any scraps with the animals- we have goats, chickens and ducks who get so excited when there are pieces of dinner to share. #noonegoeshungry AND #nowasteatdinner
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

    Kole Dullanty's avatar
    Kole Dullanty 10/09/2022 11:19 PM
Turning off the water when brushing your teeth. Only doing full loads of laundry. Only flushing for solids…
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

We took bags and bags of food to our local food pantry today. It was awesome being able to give back and share.

It’s pretty cool seeing how some canned food can change lives. It’s as easy as going thru your cupboards and sharing.
