Michelle Kotsagrelos 10/29/2025 6:47 AMFix leaky faucets (less waste), install low-flow faucets and showerheads, take shorter showers, turn off water (while brushing your teeth), and run full loads of laundry. -
Michelle Kotsagrelos 10/29/2025 6:40 AMToday is National Hermit Day. This day encourages a temporary retreat to embrace that isolating instinct for mental and emotional renewal. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWaterFixing leaky faucets is one of the tasks that we can easily put off until later. Good job on completing this action! How will you use the momentum from completing this action to increase your water efficiency in other ways?
Michelle Kotsagrelos 10/28/2025 6:45 AMI got my brother-in-law to help me (well, I supervised). I will be more conscientious about making sure there are no leaky faucets (or toilets), and if I see/hear it, get it repaired quickly. -

It's also National Black Cat Day! I don't have a black cat, but the feral colony I serve includes three browns, three grays, and two silvers, and we celebrated on October 16th, which is National Feral Cat Day. And two days from now is National Cat Day. :)

REFLECTION QUESTIONWasteReducing your paper mail can reduce mental clutter as well as physical waste -- by reducing what is coming in, you can reduce what is going into the recycling bin too. How does it make you feel? What is the next step you will take to reduce your waste?
Michelle Kotsagrelos 10/27/2025 6:52 AMDecluttering always makes me feel better.
I try and opt out of anything that is "junk mail," if I can. And going paperless for bills reduces clutter at home (and can stored on a flash drive). -

REFLECTION QUESTIONWaterWhat surprised you most about your water footprint, and how did it influence your perspective on water use? What changes can you make to reduce your water consumption, and how will these impact your daily routine?
Michelle Kotsagrelos 10/24/2025 6:17 AMI am now going to use a fully loaded dishwasher, instead of handwashing my dishes now. Didn't know that would increase my water footprint. And I am trying to keep my showers short(er).-
Frank Tallman 10/24/2025 7:43 AM- Foodie 🍱
Michelle, your actions can and will make a big impact on your footprint. It effects your water & electricity, not to mention saving money. Way to go.
