    I know this tool is just a rough estimate and the idea has always been in the back of my mind, but it was shocking to see how much meat consumption plays into our water consumption.

    Local "Buy Nothing" groups are a great way to redistribute items you no longer use, saving them from the landfill and decluttering in the process, a win-win! On the other end, they're also an excellent way to get items you need for free, keeping your consumerism in check. Many of the groups are neighborhood-specific so it's easy to walk instead of driving to pick up the item(s) depending on the size/weight of what you're picking up.
