Connecting with fellow gardeners to compare our efforts this summer as well as swapping seeds which avoids the continual purchasing of seed packets which increases the carbon footprint in these ways:
1. No shipping containers or packages
2. Better yield with locally sourced seeds
3. Mental health boost as we encourage each other and just have fun.

I feel connected by gifting things to my neighbor, it often promotes people to give to others and starts a ripple effect.
