    Waste
Maybe you've heard how good it is to switch from a single use coffee cup to a reusable one, but it's just hard to make the switch. What stands in your way of making this a habit? By identifying the challenges, you can begin to work through them to have better success in taking this action. Knowing the difference you are making, how does it make you feel?

Keeping a mug or reusable cup in the car will help reduce the temptation to buy a drink on the go with disposable cups.

Oh that's a great idea! I have cups stacking up in my cabinets and puttin 1 or 2 in my car is a great practice for mindful single use waste.

I was thinking the same thing. I don't usually bring a coffee cup when going to a coffee shop but I do keep one in the office and reuse my cup for coffee and tea.

What do you do if you find yourself in the situation of needing a bag for items but don't have a reusable one with you or aren't allowed to use the one you brought? Carry things out in your hands? In a cart? Accept a disposable one? If you find yourself in this position often, what system could you put in place to try to create a successful habit of not using plastic bags?

Once in Connecticut, USA, I found that Walmart did not have bags due to a restriction from local government. I just had to carry the items by hand. Many other with more, used the shopping carts to carry to their cars.

Here in Mexico City, we have had plastic bags banned for a while now, so I always carry my reusable bags with me. However, it happens now and then that I forget them, so I keep a plastic cradle box in my trunk at all times. I carry my groceries in the cart, and when I get home, I take out the bags and put everything there, leaving the cradle box in my trunk.

Been researching more on microplastics and health risks. Heart health seems to be one that is prevalent. Using Aria AI, found a statistic of up to 4.5 times risk of heart disease with more microplastics in arteries. https://health.harvard.edu/heart-health/microplastics-in-arteries-linked-to-heart-disease-risk

A more challenging event, but only as looking around on all the different actions that are available. My focus is still plastic and alternative energy.
